Why give?

The Dubuque Dream Center envisions a community where all of our children have the resources and support to realize their dreams.

The need is great.

We need the community’s help in making sure every child has the support they need to reach their goals.

The 2019 Iowa School Performance Profile reported this about low-income students in the Dubuque Community School District:

• 50% were proficient in reading, and
• 52% were proficient in math,

. . . with an even greater gap in proficiency for African-American students:

• Only 33% were proficient in reading, and
• Only 34% were proficient in math.
